Care shows up most in difficult moments. The NEED Fund was created to support employees when life takes an unexpected turn—whether that's a natural disaster, a health crisis or personal hardship. • It provides confidential financial assistance during moments when support matters most. • What makes this meaningful isn't just the program—it's what it represents. • It reflects a company that doesn't step back when things get hard. It steps in. • Since the program launched in Aug 2024, Newrez has contributed more than $605,000 to employees facing hardships. Because caring fiercely means showing up when it matters—not just when it's easy.
Caring for our community: Grassroots Grants
It's our belief that community impact is strongest when it's personal. The Grassroots Grants Program enables Newrez employees to support local nonprofits through company-funded grants that create tangible community impact across housing, education, youth development, mental health and human services. The program has now surpassed a major milestone with more than $1 million in philanthropic funding distributed through Grassroots Grants. Community Impact: • 1,674 meals provided to individuals and families in need • 407 mental health counseling sessions with trained professionals • 347 students supported through educational assistance • 142 families maintaining safe and stable housing • 130 youth participating in after-school programs and enrichment opportunities
